#13 – Michael Burkat

All the way from la belle province, Michael Burkat was recruited by JP Glaves to join the purple and gold in the summer of 2012 for their 3-on-3 team. The Bearcat quickly became one of the Watchmen’s leading scorers. The secret to his offensive prowess included showing up part-way through the first period so he’d have fresh legs when everyone else had already tired themselves out; that and having hands, wheels, and a nose of the net.

Perhaps it is inherent in French-Canadian grace, but very few players can pull of an empty-net between the legs breakaway like Burkat without starting a brawl. The Bearcat was immediately signed to the winter roster where he continues to put the biscuit in the basket.
