#3 – JP Glaves

The second best player ever to come out of Brantford, Ontario Glaves debuted as a centreman, but accidently let slip that he’d played defence growing up, and has remainder a fixture on the point in arenas across Edmonton ever since. JP joined the Watchmen for the summer championship of 2005. However, in what has gone down as the worst GM move in Watchmen history, the winter roster was full and Glaves would be scooped up by the Ice Bears immediately.

Glaves would continue to play with the Watchmen summer squads and join the reunions in Banff. When the Watchmen reformed in 2010, Glaves became the first player to play full time with the Bears and the Watchmen simultaneously, despite his reluctance to play on back to back evenings. Glaves effortlessly transitions from defensive force, to play-maker through the neutral zone, to blazing one-timers in the offensive zone, just as he gracefully transitions from baby-face, to lumberjack beard to rockin’ a ‘stach.
