		Matt Rookie Sensation Barker joined the Watchmen midway through the 03/04 season after posting some impressive numbers with the Watchmen farm team; the Explosions.  After a bit of coaching from his teammates, Matt quickly fit into the Watchmen lineup.  Barker scored the game-winning goal in his first game as a Watchmen and went on to be an offensive force.
		Barker is easily spotted on the ice with his full wire cage and the only guy who will intentionally go to his backhand on a breakaway.  After a much publicized summer in the Yoho hockey league in 2004, Barker returned, to the centre position between veteran wingers Wilkinson and Girard.  Barker retired after the champsionship 2005 season choosing his career over rec hockey and moved to the United States.
