Russ Misselbrook joined the Watchmen's blueline in the summer of 2002 helping the Watchmen add some natural defenders to their line-up.  Unlike the majority of the Watchmen's lineup, Russ is a defense-first player, and while his aggressive style in his own zone has led to several trips to the penalty box, but also ensuring the puck ends up on his stick when digging in the corner, or in front of his net.
Misselbrook was a late pick-up from the Bulldogs squad, finishing off a four-man pillaging of that team.  Misselbrook is known for his curling move breaking out of the Watchmen defensive zone during the game.  After the game Misselbrook risks an Eddie Levesque injury by skating additional laps with the zamboni.
